Mills Berry Giles PLLC Chicago brings more than 35 years of hands-on experience across clinical mental health, substance use, homelessness intervention, and program management, making us a trusted behavioral health consultant LCSW Chicago Illinois that behavioral health organizations and community agencies turn to when systems need real change. Our background includes over 18 years supporting public sector organizations and more than 15 years advising on contract management and compliance.
We’ve contributed to building programs that address unmet behavioral health needs directly, drawing on approaches like Harm Reduction and Motivational Interviewing that hold up in real clinical environments.
As advisors and mentors, we provide technical assistance that helps outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and non-profit behavioral health providers build services that are effective, compliant, and genuinely compassionate, reducing disengagement and improving client outcomes across the populations they serve.
We partner with licensed mental health providers and community organizations to run training on contracting fundamentals, harm reduction strategies, and performance improvement. This work has earned formal recognition for excellence in contracting, quality assurance, evidence-based practices, and program performance. We’re committed to helping every partner deliver high-quality care with integrity and real operational confidence.
At Mills Berry Giles LLC, we come to this work with a real commitment to building resilience across the communities we serve. Every engagement starts with a person-centered, holistic approach, shaped around each organization’s specific needs and the people in their care.
We bring evidence-based practices and real clinical judgment together to help partners inside community-based behavioral health programs, counseling centers, and FQHCs deliver care that actually moves the needle. With roots in public and private sector program development and clinical oversight, we help licensed mental health providers put recovery-focused strategies to work. As a licensed behavioral health consultant Illinois organizations have partnered with for decades, our goal is a healthier, more connected Chicago where quality care reaches individuals and communities alike.

Mills Berry Giles PLLC aspires to accomplish different goals, assisting companies in providing the people of Chicago with high-quality and accessible behavioral health services. We envision a less stigmatized society that aids individuals and behavioral health organizations in overcoming the obstacles they face, while providing the much deserved time and focus needed for mental wellness.
At Mills Berry Giles PLLC, we do this by offering support through training or supervising, as well as helping design and implement new programs. We have the capacity to assist in the communities of our partners by strengthening the structure of their services (e.g., building resilience, recovery, and wellness) and adding new services that promote growth. We know that community health improvements begin when organizations focus on mental wellness, and believe that we have the ability to help strengthen communities across Illinois and even further.
